We are offering sailing courses, starting with the sailing intro course where you have the chance to gain some 'hands on experience' at the Helm of an Island Cruises Yacht as well as an insight into some technical aspects involved in Crewing a Sail Boat.
For those who want a deeper reflection into sailing we've created our Ocean Hiker Competent Crew Course.
The course can be done in 7 days or as an Internship with Island Cruises over several weeks. In order to prepare for this course, an online version of all academics is available.
Subjects covered in this course include: Boat handling under engine, Dinghy handling, Electronic navigation, Chart work, Buoyage & Lights, Passage planning, Tidal streams and heights.
